Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of CHemicals (REACH)
The targets of the European REACH regulation (CE 1907/2006) are:
to minimize influence of chemicals on human health
to have a high level of environment protection
to promote the development of safer substances
REACH defines a new framework in which the manufacturers have to prove that the produced substances are safe.
In the future the imported and manufactured substances in the European Union can only be used when they have been registered by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in Helsinki.
The most dangerous substances, so named substances of “very high concern”, will have to be submitted to an authorization procedure.
DECLARATION ABOUT REACH
Zeno-Protect B.V. communicates to its customers and business partners that:
In our production cycle, we use only raw materials (polymers, additives, pvc, plasticizers, master batch. etc.) acquired by suppliers belonging to the European Community that, in compliance new REACH rules, are pre-recording their products. We have no imports of any raw materials from outside the UE countries. As defined in previous two points, we are included in the category that Reach rules identifies as “downstream users” so, therefore we haven’t the obligation to make any pre-registration. We are constantly monitoring activities of our suppliers about the performance of duties in the matter of Reach.
